What is accounting?


The accounting is an art of recording. classifying, analyzing, summarizing and interpreting of the records of the business.


Need of accounting or requirement of accounting:

These are those amount which have to invest by the proprietor for business starting.

DRAWING: 

These amount are those amount which have to spend by the proprietor for personal use.

PROPRIETOR:

A Person who takes all the risks and to use all the legal rights.

ASSETS:

These assets are those assets which have to purchase by the proprietor for business use.

These are two types:

  • Current assets: 
Current assets are those assets in which have to purchase by the proprietor for sort-term business use. For examples: Goods, Row-material, Cash in hand, Stock in hand.

  • Fixed assets:

These assets are those assets which have to purchase by the proprietor for long-term business use. For examples: Land & Building, Plant and Machinery.
